Birch Bay

So, we spent last weekend at Birch Bay at Mike's Aunt and Uncle's trailer. As usual, there we some shinanigans, good food, and great friends...

This was our Friday night, watching The Bucket List (worth a look-see!). Later we ventured to the beach and ran into our neighbours, Todd and JoJo from Seatt's, and we had some laughs, country comparisons (inevitable, aren't they?), and some hot dogs around the bonfire.

All of us girls on the beach before dinner, Saturday. Holly split her wine all over my foot shortly after this pic. Stephanie, the birthday girl, later wore a Japanese sash that translated into "I'll be drinking tonight" (thanks Diaso!). Heather made some amazing blackberry-lime sangria that we drank after. I added some general life to the party and made yummy things. Mike brought the testosterone and sweet music mixes.

What's a birthday party without sparklers around the bonfire?

Sunday we crawled out of bed to have pancakes, do a little shopping, and then take a walk on the beach before dinner and heading home. Can't wait to do it all again next weekend!
