That time of year

Winter is well on it's way. Hallowe'en, Mike and I manned my house as everyone else was gone for various work reasons. We had a fake pumpkin. All of us at my house had neglected to get pumpkins. I love carving pumpkins...LOVE it. One day, I dream of entering a contest. I love it that much. So this year our pumpkin plugged in and looked like it was carved by a 10 year old. And our neighbour might have lied a little when she said they got 6 kids last year because this year we didn't have one.

November 1st I saw my first Canadian goose flying "V" of the year as I drove along Port Haney. Any chance of hitching a ride guys?

And yesterday-my heart be still-I had my first holiday drink of the season. A reduced-fat eggnog latte and it was Christmas in a cup.

It's getting to be that time of year again so you should all start thinking about when you will be watching Love Actually and Elf and drinking your peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate. 'Tis the season!

At least you didn't have to resort to carving a spaghetti squash... Jack o' dinner?
