One month later...

...and I've finally gotten around to posting. I'm on week #3 of working until 8pm most nights, one more week to go (I say optimistically).

I bought my wedding dress. First store, first one I tried on (no worries, the girls all made me try on more). I can't wait until it comes in and I can try it on for real. We even ventured into almost Burnaby and picked out bridesmaids dresses and got the girls sized after my Mom treated us to lunch. It was a perfect day.

And then I rear-ended a guy. My first two-vehicle accident. Merging onto the Haney Bypass. It was classic. I wasn't sure if I was going to pass out or throw up, and between all my shaking and helping the man remove my front bumper off the back of his (so Heather says, I don't actually remember that part) I didn't know which end was up. The man was extremely nice to me and that helped. Mike coming to save all of us freezing ladies was also nice. He's a keeper. That was November 10th and I'm still driving the courtesy car that has that "old cigarette smoke" stench. Apparently, they've been waiting on parts. One thing I know for sure: I was missing my 4 wheel drive when we got that dump of snow on the weekend.

From there, things have been a blur. Lots of work and little play make Lindsey a dull girl. But a dull girl who is thrilled that Advent is here, waiting in anticipation of that holy night, none-the-less. The stars are brightly shining.
