Walk or Roll

On Saturday Mike and I caught an afternoon showing of '300'. Wow! I'd see it again...even in theater. There were some early 20-somethings standing behind us in line and we got to hear a bit of their conversation because, as we all know, the Meadow Town Cineplex feels it is adequate enough to have 1 person on the til during the pre-movie rush leaving you to be distracted by people watching. Since movies cost an arm-and-a-leg these days (anyone remember the cheap theater in Langley? That place was great!) I think there should be more than one person out front...you can obviously afford to pay them. Stop being cheap and greedy and offering poor service.

So a child rolls by on some "Heelies" and one guy behind us exclaims, "Man! I want some of those! Those are so awesome." To which his friend replies, "They wonder why kids are fat these days? They don't even walk anymore...they roll!"

Walk on. (Thanks U2)
