10 years later...

...I've found myself with a man who's made me a wife and, oh!, how happy. A post-secondary education, a job with meaning and purpose that I love, adventures enough already to entertain me in my old age (though I relish the thought of many more), developing an understanding of God and his kingdom that excites and entices me, friends and family that I cherish for the presence of their life in mine and mine in theirs...

...And back at the very same golf course, in the same room, with many of the same people that I graduated with 10 years ago.

There was only one person I did not recognize, but found out who it was later. I hear the 20 year reunion is basically a masquerade party:) It's amazing to see how, after 10 years, people are still moths to the flame...the "school bully" was still smoking in the girls bathroom, the party crowd was still blitzed, the lime-light seekers were out on the dance floor with their MJ impressions, and-although our school didn't appear to be as clique-y as a lot of others-the cliques still sat at the same tables. What a great social experiment these things are! I do have a picture of me and my high school girlfriends but I have a feeling they must have a better version.
